Sidney- Symbiosis of Old and New

“Architecture is the will of an epoch translated into space.”
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

More reflections

  1. I honestly prefer the old ! I don't like these glass boxes.

  2. That is a magnificent architecture! The photo is great :-)

  3. I like the intersection of old and new.

  4. The old looks nice, but is very cold. It is good that the city keeps both the old and new.

  5. I like to see old and new, old is usually more interesting but we have to move with the times and new brings us good reflections!

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  6. Interesting image. I like the juxtaposition of the old and the new. I don't recall that Mies quote. I had one prof in Architecture school who was enamored of Mies. I told him I thought Mies' buildings were cold and inhuman. Of course he disagreed.

  7. What a magnificent-looking church. It's nice to see it being preserved among the newer buildings. Great reflections!
