I honestly prefer the old ! I don't like these glass boxes.
ReplyDeleteThat is a magnificent architecture! The photo is great :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the intersection of old and new.
ReplyDeleteThe old looks nice, but is very cold. It is good that the city keeps both the old and new.
ReplyDeleteI like to see old and new, old is usually more interesting but we have to move with the times and new brings us good reflections!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
Hey, we've been there!
ReplyDeleteInteresting image. I like the juxtaposition of the old and the new. I don't recall that Mies quote. I had one prof in Architecture school who was enamored of Mies. I told him I thought Mies' buildings were cold and inhuman. Of course he disagreed.
ReplyDeleteWhat a magnificent-looking church. It's nice to see it being preserved among the newer buildings. Great reflections!
